Sunni Islam
Sunni Islam is the largest branch of Islam, comprising about 85-90% of Muslims worldwide. Sunnis believe in following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as recorded in the Hadith and emphasize the importance of the community in interpreting Islamic teachings. They accept the first four caliphs as rightful leaders after Muhammad's death. Sunni practices and beliefs are characterized by the Five Pillars of Islam, which include faith, prayer, charity, fasting, and pilgrimage. This branch is diverse, encompassing various cultures and traditions, but it shares a common commitment to the core tenets of Islamic faith.
