Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah

Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah, often referred to as Sunni Islam, represents the largest denomination within Islam. It emphasizes following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as conveyed through the Sunnah (his practices) and agrees upon by the community (Jama'ah). Sunnis uphold the importance of consensus and tradition in interpreting Islamic teachings, distinguishing themselves from other sects, such as Shia Islam. The Sunni faith includes a rich array of beliefs, rituals, and jurisprudence, all rooted in the Quran and the Prophet's examples, promoting unity and continuity among Muslims worldwide.
