Ahl al-Sunnah

Ahl al-Sunnah, often referred to as Sunni Islam, represents the largest denomination of Muslims worldwide. They follow the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad as recorded in the Hadith (sayings and actions) and uphold the consensus of the early Muslim community. Sunni beliefs emphasize the importance of community and consensus in interpreting Islamic teachings. They adhere to key principles of faith, such as the oneness of God, the prophethood of Muhammad, and the significance of following the Qur'an and Sunnah (the way of the Prophet). Sunni Islam is characterized by diverse cultures and schools of thought within its tradition.
