Islam

Islam is one of the world's major religions, founded in the 7th century CE in Arabia. It centers on the belief in one God (Allah) and follows the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, regarded as the last prophet. The Quran, Islam's holy book, is viewed as God's final revelation. Followers, known as Muslims, practice their faith through the Five Pillars, which include declaring faith, prayer, charity, fasting during Ramadan, and pilgrimage to Mecca.
