Ahmadiyya Islam

Ahmadiyya Islam is a reformist movement within Islam, founded in the late 19th century by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in India. Ahmadis believe that Ghulam Ahmad is the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, a prophetic figure who fulfills Islamic prophecies. While they uphold the core beliefs of Islam, including the oneness of God and the teachings of Muhammad, their interpretation includes a strong emphasis on peace, community service, and dialogue. However, mainstream Islamic groups regard the Ahmadis as non-Muslim due to their beliefs about prophethood. This has led to significant persecution of Ahmadis in some countries.
