Mahdavia Islam
Mahdavia Islam is a sect within the broader Islamic tradition, rooted in the teachings of the Indian Sufi leader, Syed Mohammed Jaunpuri, who declared himself the Mahdi (a messianic figure) in the late 15th century. Mahdavias believe in the unique guidance of their leader and emphasize a spiritual approach to Islam that incorporates elements of Sufism. They prioritize love, devotion, and service to humanity, viewing the Mahdi as a central figure for spiritual enlightenment and community guidance. While they share core beliefs with mainstream Islam, their distinct doctrines and practices set them apart within the Islamic faith.
