Jumu'ah
Jumu'ah, or Friday prayer, is a significant weekly gathering for Muslims. It takes place on Friday, replacing the regular midday prayer. During Jumu'ah, followers come together at a mosque for a communal prayer led by an imam, which includes a sermon (khutbah) addressing moral and spiritual guidance. This gathering fosters community bonds, emphasizes worship, and encourages reflection on one's faith. Attendance is obligatory for adult males, while women and children are encouraged to join. Jumu'ah highlights the importance of community worship in Islam and serves as a reminder of the values and teachings of the religion.
