Muhammad (Prophet)
Muhammad (c. 570–632 CE) is regarded as the final prophet in Islam. Born in Mecca, he is believed to have received divine revelations from Allah (God) through the angel Gabriel over 23 years. These revelations form the Quran, Islam's holy book. Muhammad preached monotheism, morality, and social justice, and his teachings emphasized compassion and community. He faced resistance in Mecca but gained followers, leading to the establishment of the first Muslim community in Medina. His life and teachings laid the foundation for Islam, which is now one of the world's major religions, with over a billion followers.
