Imam Abu Hanifa

Imam Abu Hanifa was an influential Islamic scholar and the founder of the Hanafi school of thought, one of the four major Sunni Islamic legal schools. Born in 699 CE in present-day Iraq, he emphasized reason and consensus in interpreting Islamic law.
