Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoleon Bonaparte was a French military leader and emperor who rose to prominence during the French Revolution in the late 18th century. Known for his brilliant military strategies, he expanded French territory across Europe. In 1804, he declared himself Emperor of the French, implementing significant reforms in government and law, notably the Napoleonic Code. However, his ambition led to costly wars, and after a failed invasion of Russia in 1812, he was defeated and exiled. He briefly returned to power before being defeated again at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, after which he was exiled to Saint Helena, where he died.
