Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a key political leader in the Indian subcontinent, best known as the founder of Pakistan. Born in 1876, he initially worked for Hindu-Muslim unity but later championed the idea of a separate nation for Muslims. His leadership in the All-India Muslim League led to the creation of Pakistan in 1947, following India’s independence from British rule. Jinnah served as Pakistan's first Governor-General until his death in 1948. He is remembered for his vision of a democratic and inclusive Pakistan, and his efforts significantly shaped South Asian history.
