Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a prominent leader in the Indian independence movement and the founder of Pakistan. Born on December 25, 1876, he initially advocated for Hindu-Muslim unity in British India but later recognized the distinct political needs of Muslims. Jinnah became the leader of the All-India Muslim League, advocating for a separate nation to ensure Muslim rights. His vision led to the creation of Pakistan on August 14, 1947, where he became its first Governor-General. Jinnah is remembered for his role in creating a distinct national identity and prioritizing constitutional governance for the new country. He passed away on September 11, 1948.
