Physical Activity Guidelines
Physical Activity Guidelines provide recommendations for how much exercise adults and children should aim for to maintain good health. Generally, adults should get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity, like brisk walking, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity, like running, each week. Additionally, strength training should be done at least twice a week. For children, at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity daily is recommended. These guidelines encourage a balanced routine that can enhance overall fitness, support mental well-being, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
