Bhagat Singh

Bhagat Singh was a prominent Indian freedom fighter born on September 28, 1907. He played a key role in the struggle against British colonial rule in India during the early 20th century. Known for his revolutionary ideas, Singh believed in using direct action to achieve independence. He became famous after carrying out acts of protest, including the assassination of a British police officer and a symbolic hunger strike in prison. Singh was arrested, tried, and executed at the age of 23 on March 23, 1931. He is remembered as a martyr and a symbol of resistance against oppression in India.
