Sukhdev Thapar was a prominent Indian revolutionary and freedom fighter, known for his role in the struggle against British colonial rule in India. Born on May 15, 1907, he was a key member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), alongside fellow revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh. Sukhdev actively participated in various protests and armed struggles aimed at achieving independence. He was arrested for his involvement in the killing of a British police officer and, along with Bhagat Singh and Shivaram Rajguru, was executed by the British in 1931. Sukhdev is remembered as a martyr and an icon of resistance.
