
Shivaram Rajguru
Shivaram Rajguru was an Indian freedom fighter born on August 24, 1908. He is best known for his involvement in the revolutionary movement against British colonial rule in India. Along with his associates, including Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev Thapar, Rajguru played a significant role in the assassination of British police officer John Saunders in 1928, mistakenly believing he was targeting James A. Scott. His actions were part of a larger struggle for India’s independence. Rajguru was captured, tried, and executed in 1931, and he is remembered as a martyr and a symbol of youth activism in the freedom movement.
