
Bhagat Singh (freedom fighter)
Bhagat Singh was a prominent Indian freedom fighter born on September 28, 1907. He played a vital role in the struggle against British colonial rule in India. A fierce advocate for justice and socialism, Singh is best known for his daring acts of protest and his involvement in revolutionary activities. He famously joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association and was involved in the assassination of a British police officer in retaliation for the death of a freedom fighter. Captured and tried, he was executed on March 23, 1931. Singh remains a symbol of youth activism and resistance against oppression in India.
