Execution (murder of Bhagat Singh)

Bhagat Singh was a prominent Indian revolutionary during the fight for independence from British rule in the early 20th century. Along with his associates, he aimed to inspire uprising against colonial oppression. In 1929, he was involved in a protest that led to the death of a British police officer, and he was later charged with conspiracy and murder. Despite widespread public support and calls for clemency, he was convicted and executed by hanging on March 23, 1931. His martyrdom turned him into a symbol of resistance and inspired future generations in the struggle for India’s independence.
