Moon
The Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite, orbiting our planet approximately every 27.3 days. It plays a crucial role in stabilizing Earth’s tilt, which influences our seasons. The Moon’s surface is covered in craters, dust, and rocky material, and it has no atmosphere to protect it from space debris. It reflects sunlight, which is why we can see it from Earth. The Moon affects our oceans’ tides due to its gravitational pull. It has been a subject of human exploration, most notably with NASA's Apollo missions, which landed astronauts on its surface between 1969 and 1972.
