Turing Test
The Turing Test, formulated by mathematician Alan Turing in 1950, assesses a machine's ability to exhibit intelligent behavior indistinguishable from that of a human. During the test, a human evaluator interacts with both a machine and a human without knowing which is which. If the evaluator cannot reliably tell the machine from the human based solely on their responses, the machine is said to have passed the test. This evaluation explores the capabilities of artificial intelligence and raises questions about what it means to think and be intelligent.
