Title I

Title I is a part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) in the United States, aimed at providing federal funding to schools with high numbers of low-income students. The goal is to ensure that all children have access to a quality education and achieve academic success. Schools receiving Title I funds can use the money for various programs, such as extra tutoring, after-school activities, and teacher training, to help improve student achievement and close achievement gaps between disadvantaged students and their peers.
