Samkhya
Samkhya is one of the six classical schools of Indian philosophy and is primarily focused on understanding the nature of reality and human existence. It posits that there are two fundamental principles: Purusha (consciousness or the self) and Prakriti (nature or the material world). Samkhya explains the interaction between these two to address the human experience of suffering and the path to liberation (moksha). It emphasizes knowledge and discernment as means to attain freedom from the cycles of birth and rebirth. Its ideas have influenced yoga, Ayurveda, and other philosophical systems in India.
