Vedas

The Vedas are a collection of ancient sacred texts central to Hinduism, composed in Sanskrit around 1500 to 500 BCE. They include four main texts: the Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda. The Vedas contain hymns, rituals, philosophical discussions, and guidelines for living a righteous life. They are considered the oldest religious scriptures in the world, forming the foundation of Hindu beliefs, rituals, and practices. The knowledge within the Vedas has significantly influenced Indian culture, spirituality, and various philosophical traditions over millennia.
