Shudras
Shudras are one of the four main social categories, or varnas, in the traditional Hindu caste system. They are typically associated with labor and service roles, including farmers, artisans, and manual workers. Historically, Shudras have been regarded as the working class, supporting society's needs through their skills and efforts. The caste system has deep historical roots in India but is widely criticized for perpetuating social inequality. In modern India, legal measures aim to promote equality and reduce discrimination against Shudras and other marginalized groups.
