UK Government

The UK Government is the system that makes and enforces laws in the United Kingdom, which includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It is made up of three branches: the Executive, led by the Prime Minister and ministers who run government departments; the Legislature, which is the Parliament that creates laws; and the Judiciary, which interprets laws and ensures they are followed. The government is elected by the public, and its main responsibilities include managing public services, the economy, and national policies, while representing citizens’ interests both domestically and internationally.
