Devolved Politics

Devolved politics refers to the process by which central governments transfer certain powers and responsibilities to regional or local governments. This allows these regions to make decisions on issues such as health, education, and transportation, tailored to their specific needs. For example, in the UK, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have their own parliaments or assemblies with varying degrees of authority. Devolution aims to bring government closer to the people, improve local governance, and enhance democracy by allowing regions to have a say in their affairs while still being part of a larger state.
