Welsh Parliament (Senedd Cymru)
The Welsh Parliament, known as Senedd Cymru or the Welsh Parliament, is the devolved government for Wales. It has the authority to make decisions on many local issues such as education, health, environment, and transportation. Established in 1999, it works alongside the UK Parliament, which handles reserved matters like defense and immigration. The Senedd is composed of elected members called MSs (Members of the Senedd), who represent different regions and parties. Its role is to represent Welsh interests, craft laws, and oversee the Welsh Government, aiming to improve the well-being of people living in Wales.
