Learning and Skills Council

The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) was an organization in the United Kingdom responsible for funding and overseeing further education and skill development for adults and young people. Established in 2001, its aim was to improve education and training opportunities, ensuring individuals could gain the skills needed for employment and career advancement. In 2010, the LSC was dissolved, and its functions were transferred to the Skills Funding Agency and the Young People's Learning Agency, which continue to support education and training initiatives across the country.
