Roger Penrose

Roger Penrose is a renowned physicist whose work has greatly influenced our understanding of the universe. He contributed to general relativity by exploring black holes, showing that they can form from collapsing stars, and introducing the concept of "singularities," where density becomes infinite. Penrose also worked on concepts in cosmology, such as the "Penrose diagram," which visually represents spacetime. His ideas challenge traditional views about the beginning of the universe and time itself. In recognition of his groundbreaking contributions, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2020.
