Space and Time
Space and time are fundamental concepts in metaphysics. Space refers to the vast expanse in which all physical entities exist and operate, providing three-dimensional structure. Time, on the other hand, is a measurement of events from past to future, perceived as a steadily flowing sequence. In metaphysical debates, they are viewed either as individual entities, with their own existence and properties (‘absolutism’), or as relations dependent on events and objects (‘relationism’). Understanding the nature and structure of these concepts helps in decoding the fabric of the universe, from its physical mannerisms to the tendrils of reality itself.
