The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory is the leading explanation for the origin of the universe. It proposes that around 13.8 billion years ago, all of space, time, and matter were concentrated in an extremely hot, dense point. This point suddenly expanded, leading to the universe's rapid growth. As it expanded, it cooled, allowing particles to form atoms, stars, and galaxies over billions of years. The theory also suggests space and time began with the Big Bang, meaning before this event, traditional concepts of space and time did not exist. Today, we observe this expansion continuing, evidenced by distant galaxies moving away from us.
