Helium nuclei

Helium nuclei are the cores of helium atoms, made up of two protons and typically two neutrons. Protons are positively charged particles, while neutrons carry no charge. Helium is the second lightest and second most abundant element in the universe, primarily formed during the Big Bang and in stars through nuclear fusion. This fusion process releases a vast amount of energy, which is why helium is also produced in solar and other stellar processes. Helium is essential in the universe and has various applications, including in balloons, cooling systems, and scientific research.
