The Hard Problem of Consciousness

The Hard Problem of Consciousness is a concept in Philosophy of Mind. It asks why and how physical processes in the brain give rise to experiences we perceive as consciousness. We understand how brain activities link to behaviors but explaining how these create our subjective experiences, like seeing red or feeling pain, remains challenging. It's considered 'hard' because unlike 'easy' problems (understanding behaviors), it can't be directly observed or quantified, making a scientific answer difficult.
