Impossible Object

An impossible object is a visual illusion that creates a three-dimensional figure which cannot physically exist in reality. These objects, like the Penrose triangle or the Penrose stairs, appear to have impossible properties or structures that defy the laws of geometry and spatial reasoning. When you look at them, your brain attempts to make sense of the shapes, but despite appearing plausible, they cannot be constructed in three dimensions. Artists and designers often use impossible objects to challenge perceptions and provoke thought about how we interpret visual information.
