Mysticism

Mysticism, in the realm of religious philosophy, refers to spiritual experiences where one feels a direct, intimate connection with the divine or ultimate reality. This is often described as a state of 'oneness' or 'union', transcending normal human consciousness. It's associated with profound personal transformation and insight, typically unattainable through ordinary reasoning or empirical evidence. Experiences can be either transcendent (beyond sensory experience) or immanent (within everyday experience). Mysticism is found in many religious traditions including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and more.
