Meniere's disease
Meniere's disease is an inner ear disorder that affects balance and hearing. It is characterized by episodes of vertigo (a spinning sensation), tinnitus (ringing in the ears), a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear, and fluctuating hearing loss. These symptoms occur due to an abnormal buildup of fluid in the inner ear. The exact cause is unknown, but it may be related to genetic, environmental, or autoimmune factors. While there is no cure, treatments aim to manage symptoms and minimize episodes, including dietary changes, medications, and in some cases, surgery.
