Vertigo
Vertigo is a sensation of spinning or dizziness, often feeling like you or your surroundings are moving when they are not. It usually results from issues in the inner ear or the brain that affect balance. Common causes include infections, migraines, or problems with the vestibular system—the part of the inner ear responsible for sensing movement and position. Vertigo can be temporary or persistent, and may be accompanied by nausea, imbalance, or difficulty focusing. While often manageable, persistent vertigo should be evaluated by a healthcare professional to determine underlying causes and appropriate treatment.
