Ménière's Disease
Ménière's disease is a disorder of the inner ear that affects balance and hearing. It is characterized by episodes of vertigo (a spinning sensation), hearing loss, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), and a feeling of fullness in the ear. This condition is thought to result from an abnormal buildup of fluid in the inner ear. The exact cause is unknown, but it may be linked to genetics, infections, or autoimmune responses. Symptoms can vary in intensity and duration, and while there is no cure, treatments are available to help manage symptoms.
