Sikh Gurus

The Sikh Gurus are the founders and spiritual leaders of Sikhism, a major religion that originated in the Punjab region of India in the 15th century. There are ten Gurus, starting with Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who emphasized the oneness of God, equality, and community service. Each Guru contributed teachings that shaped Sikh beliefs and practices, promoting love, compassion, and justice. The final Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, established the Khalsa community, formally affirming the religion’s values. After him, the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture, became the eternal Guru, guiding Sikhs spiritually and ethically.
