Sahajdhari

Sahajdhari refers to a subgroup within Sikhism that emphasizes a more gradual approach to adopting Sikh practices and beliefs. Unlike Amritdhari Sikhs, who undergo a baptism ceremony and follow strict adherence to the Five Ks (the five articles of faith), Sahajdharis may not wear these symbols initially and may gradually incorporate Sikh teachings and practices into their lives. They often come to Sikhism through personal conviction rather than formal initiation, allowing for a more flexible and individual path to spirituality within the faith. This approach supports inclusivity and personal growth in one's religious journey.
