Lok Sabha
The Lok Sabha is the lower house of India's Parliament, where elected representatives—the Members of Parliament (MPs)—debate and make laws. It is the primary legislative body responsible for discussing national issues, passing budgets, and representing the people’s interests. Members are elected directly by citizens from various regions of India based on population size. The Lok Sabha works alongside the Rajya Sabha (upper house) to govern the country. Its functioning ensures democratic representation, accountability, and law-making at the national level.
