Union Government of India
The Union Government of India is the central authority that governs the entire country. It is based in New Delhi and consists of three main branches: the Executive, led by the President and the Prime Minister; the Legislature, which includes the Parliament (Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha); and the Judiciary, which interprets laws. The Union Government is responsible for creating national policies, managing foreign relations, and ensuring defense and security. It operates under the Constitution of India, providing a framework for governance while balancing powers with state governments.
