Acculturation
Acculturation is the process through which individuals or groups adopt the cultural traits and social patterns of another culture, often as a result of contact and interaction. This can happen when people from different backgrounds meet, such as through migration, globalization, or colonization. Acculturation can involve changes in language, customs, beliefs, and practices, and can be a two-way process where both cultures influence each other. It often leads to a blending of cultures, but may also result in tension or challenges as people navigate their identities within different cultural contexts.
