Venus

Venus is the second planet from the Sun in our solar system and is often referred to as Earth's "sister planet" due to its similar size and composition. However, its environment is drastically different. Venus has a thick atmosphere, primarily composed of carbon dioxide, which traps heat, resulting in surface temperatures around 900°F (475°C). This extreme greenhouse effect makes it the hottest planet. It features volcanic plains, large mountains, and the striking brightness we often see from Earth, making it the third-brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon. Venus has no moons or rings.
