Venus figurines
Venus figurines are prehistoric statuettes characterized by exaggerated female features, such as large breasts and hips. Dating back to the Upper Paleolithic period (approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago), these figurines have been found across Europe and parts of Asia. While their exact purpose is still debated, many believe they may have served as fertility symbols, representations of the female form, or objects of worship. The figurines highlight the importance of women in early human societies and provide insight into the beliefs and artistic expression of our ancestors.
