The Paleolithic Era

The Paleolithic Era, often referred to as the Old Stone Age, spans from about 2.6 million years ago to around 10,000 BCE. During this period, early humans primarily lived as hunter-gatherers, relying on hunting wild animals and foraging for plants. They created simple tools from stone, wood, and bone, and developed early forms of art, such as cave paintings. The era is significant for the development of human culture and social structures. As the climate warmed, people began to transition to agriculture, marking the end of the Paleolithic and the beginning of the Neolithic Era.
