Simon de Montfort

Simon de Montfort was a 13th-century nobleman and influential figure in English history. He is best known for leading a rebellion against King Henry III and significantly reforming the English Parliament. His actions in the 1250s and 1260s aimed to limit the king's power and increase the representation of common people in governance.
