Roscosmos
Roscosmos, formally known as the State Corporation for Activities in Space Flight Operations, is Russia’s governmental body responsible for space science and exploration. Established in 1992, it oversees the country’s space missions, including human spaceflight, satellite development, and international collaborations, like participation in the International Space Station (ISS). Roscosmos manages a range of projects, from launching rockets to conducting scientific research in space. Its mission reflects Russia's historical significance in space exploration, having launched the first human, Yuri Gagarin, into space in 1961. Today, Roscosmos continues to advance space technology and exploration efforts.
