ExoMars Mission

The ExoMars mission is a collaborative project between the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Russian space agency Roscosmos, aimed at exploring Mars. Launched in 2016, it consists of two main components: the Trace Gas Orbiter, which studies the Martian atmosphere for gases like methane, and the Rosalind Franklin rover, set to launch later. The rover will search for signs of past life and analyze soil samples. By understanding Mars' environment and potential for life, ExoMars helps answer fundamental questions about our solar system and the possibility of life beyond Earth.
