Political Realism and Idealism

Political Realism is the belief that politics are mainly guided by self-interest and survival. It downplays morality or ideology, focusing on how things are rather than how they should be. On the other hand, Political Idealism emphasizes morality and views global community cooperation as achievable for peace and prosperity. Idealists believe that human behavior can lead to improving global situations through ethical conduct and international law.
